hello Pro Community you're watching pnn and I'm Axwell man keeping you informed about everything at dpmhs and I'm Jacqueline Gomez thanks for joining us on today's broadcast we've got stories at Spotlight student voices and what makes our school such a unique place to learn and grow coming up we'll get to know some of our fellow students and meet your classmates and later we'll embark on a journey to exciting destinations in our virtual travel lock segment but first have you ever wondered why students choose to come to dpmhs today we'll be hearing from reporters who asked students around campus just that why did you choose to attend Daniel Pearl Magnet High School let's go out on campus to get that answer viewers my name is Nova and today we're on the go Bringing you exclusive interviews from students around the campus let's go please tell us why you chose to go to Daniel Palanga high school instead of a different School so we found this school on a website and uh we watched their online um open house and then came in for a tour and I loved how small and nice it was and how kind everyone seemed everyone seemed very accepting and I'd always been kind of the odd went out so um I think I thought this would be a really good fit for me well I was at a really big school before and I needed to change my environment and I came here and I felt really welcome and I feel like it was a good place to be because the music program was nice uh I chose the school because it's a really small magnet school and I like not having a giant campus my mom originally chose the school because she said I had a neck for writing so she chose a journalism School I chose it because it was just generally small and also my best friend was also growing here so you know just that I like music and I heard a lot about this Cole's music department that's that's the reason uh I chose to go to Antonio promina high school because a lot of the schools in my area weren't really the best for me so when I found out about this school and that it was small and focused on journalism I figured it could be a fresh start for me all right thank you and that's a wrap on the go interviews thank existing I like trees and like it's just cool to live and you know oh I like guitar too Bell already  why so serious I've been playing guitar for 3 years and operation on my guitar teacher who taught me how to play guitar back in Ukraine and you can probably still want the biggest Inspirations also I'm also really inspired by other guitarists like Johnny Greenwood for radio head I saw you like I don't know like slash and uh I'm in a band uh we've been playing together for almost a year and I also like playing guitar for School concerts and I'm also to learn drums and complain basically well it's great getting to know the amazing people we walk past in the hallways every day thanks again to our featured class means for sharing their insights with us before we wrap up we have 1 more story to take you beyond the borders of our campus without even leaving your seat that's right it's time for virtual travel log where we explore cultures landmarks and travel stories from around the world the world welcome to Paris this cereal flight it's famous for its beauty history and art Paris is 1 of the most loved cities in the world and it's easy to see why first we have the Eiffel Tower it's over 300 M tall and 1 of the most famous landmarks on Earth you can take amazing photos or go to the top for a view on the whole city next let's visit Disneyland Paris it's a magical place where kids and adults have fun with exciting rides in Disneyland characters it's the perfect spot for an unforgettable day and don't all over the world's biggest Museum in has thousands of amazing artworks including the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci it's a place full of history and Beauty Paris is full of famous places and magical moments it's a city you'll fall in love with so what are you waiting for come visit pairs now that was a journey worth taking great segment right amazing and now before we go we'll leave you with an inspirational quote related to today's stories a journey is best measured
