This week’s episode of PearlTV features a special Takeover Edition as we welcomed visiting students from Lawrence Middle School into our studio! As part of our Broadcast Studio Simulator, the Lawrence guests stepped into the spotlight to experience what it’s like to be real PearlTV anchors.

During their visit, the Lawrence students took over the anchor desk, reading scripts on the teleprompter, delivering on-camera introductions, and getting a firsthand look at how our studio team brings each episode to life. Meanwhile, our DPMHS Video Production students worked behind the scenes, running cameras, teleprompters, audio, and the control room—demonstrating the full workflow of a professional broadcast.

This special edition highlights the excitement and creativity that come from giving young storytellers their first taste of live production.

hi sharks I'm Zarina and I'm Arena if our name sound like a rhyme you are not wrong today on Pro TV we have some special guests visiting from Lawrence Middle School they're here in our broadcast simulator to see what it's like to run a road show from the anchor desk to the control room to get them a taste of Life on camera let's go over to about reporter Serena the final member of today's rhyming anchor Squad who's standing by in the studio with 1 of our guests over to you Serena thanks Marina and Serena I'm Serena clearly there's a whole Arena thing going on today and I'm here with Arnav Shaw from Lawrence Middle School thanks for joining us thanks for having me so first question what are you most excited about when you think about starting High School um a new school I guess that's awesome second question what is 1 thing that feels a little scary or challenging about starting High School still a new school you're definitely not alone there and finally if you had your own segment on Pearl TV what kind of show or topic would you want to cover I don't know just general Campus Life love that I can already see a promo for that segment thanks so much for joining us today okay now back to zero and Marina surprised I'm arouch and I'm on and we officially hijacked the pro TV anchor desk we might be in middle school now but pretty soon it'll be our turn to take over the air air waves here at Pearl TV so Marina and tsarina start making room for the next crop of freshmen because we are coming to for those anchors even if our names don't rhyme with Serena now let's check back in with Serena uh thanks we actually flipped things around down here I'm asking the questions now so Serena how do you think our uh Middle School anchors are doing now I honestly think they're doing great we definitely have some future broadcasters in our mess thank you thank you uh excuse me did we get replaced while we were off getting water yeah the baby sharks are strickling the desk already let the OG sharks finish the show essentially the ones who are in with Serena this is Serena 1/3 of the Arena crew back to you Xena and Marina we step away from 1 second and suddenly we've got replacement anchors at least they're really good replacements I'm only slightly worried about my job and about someone named Karina showing up to join the lineup right anyway huge thank you to our guests from Lawrence Middle School for taking over the studio with us today we can't wait to see some of you back here as per TV anchors reporters and crew members filling these chairs maybe even adding more names to the arena Squad right for Pearl TV I'm Zarina and die Marina over there Serena thanks for watching and keep swimming sharks
