Student wins Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Award
Alan Ruiz has won the Hispanic Heritage Foundation Youth Award. This program honors Latinx high school seniors who excel in the classroom, community and for their excellence in various categories. This year, over 30,000 accounts were created for the Youth Awards. From those, three students were selected for each category in 10 different regions across the country. Each Youth Awardee becomes part of the broader HHF network of 200,000+ professionals and fulfill a unique cycle of leadership where they meet America’s priorities in the classroom and workforce
