Library

Pearl Library's mission is to prepare all students to be digital citizens, research experts, and lovers of reading and learning so that they graduate ready for success beyond high school. Students will graduate from Daniel Pearl Magnet High School as strong communicators with the integrity and leadership ability to be a positive influence at home, in the community, and in the world. As digital citizens, students recognize the rights, responsibilities/opportunities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world. They act in ways that are safe, legal and ethical. The American Association of Libraries promote that intellectual freedom is every learner's right. In the legacy of Daniel Pearl himself, learners have the freedom to speak and hear what others have to say, rather than allowing others to control their access to ideas and information. Pearl Library supports these endeavors by providing an inclusive, safe, and dynamic learning space where students feel they have a place to belong.
