good evening good evening my name is Arman petrosyan I'm the proud principal of Daniel Pearl Magnet High School first of all thank you both parents and pictures for taking time out of your busy days to come and to come to work spring open house and tonight we like to give an opportunity for you to see the wonderful things that are happening at happening at our school song you have students were already enrolled in our school and others may be looking into coming into the wonderful the world that is called Daniel Pearlman in high school so tonight would like to have give our faculty and staff an opportunity to see what the wonderful things that are going on over here my name is Arman petrosyan I'm the principal and even before I came on board Daniel Pearl Magnet High School that always keep an eye on that Daniel ProMag High School even when I was an assistant principal at Daniel Pacoima Middle School always knew beautiful things were happening at this school in those days when I had my eye on on on Daniel Pearl MS Deb Smith was a principal and two of his sayings that really really really attract spoke to my belief in my principles as as an educator was the first one was non multum said said let me see said no no no I said no too much he's not many But Mighty in. That is our the model we are small But Mighty with a with limited resources because of our our size and the number of I could see we have here we get much done with very little and that says something about us and the attitude we have toward education in the second one is a place to belong there is something for every at her school even though it were a small school there is a lot going on that is pretty much where very accepting Community were a very tight-knit community and we tried to make everyone stay during their four years of Daniel Pearl Magnet High School a comfortable I stayed because we have like I said something for everyone without further Ado I would like to introduce a very very very important member of The Faculty I don't like it when she's I don't think she likes it when I said say that but miss tourism is martinez-perez is our one and only counselor on this campus and I called the magical the magical counselor because she gets her she makes she works her magic on everything she does without further Ado meds Torres take it away thank you mister petrosyan and welcome to everyone I'm the academic counselor here at Pearl and this is my tenth school year here I work with students and the primary goal is try to aim for 100% graduation which I'm proud of our our teachers are students and because they they actually meet that most of the time I work with students to create their IGT is there individualized graduation plan I helped them to make sure that they understand all of their graduation requirements specifically there a through G requirements I work with them also to make sure that they are 1st and the difference between a through G requirements and the requirements held by the state of California leusd also has a specific number like how old and service learning project that students have to do and they have a specific number of credit so my job is to make sure students understand all of that and you might have spoken with some of your students in the couple of weeks cuz I've been going into their classes and working with them on understanding that helping them to understand what their horses could look like for next year so they should have brought a paper home that helps them selectively horse the recently if not you can talk to them about it and I'll send some link to you this weekend that will have access to their course selection the other thing I work with the students on is post-secondary choices and that includes Community College 4-year College house they used to seize private schools out of state schools and we've even had some students do internationally so it's helping them explore for those college options and and helping them with their application I also work with them on finding Technical Training locations where there and be occupational centers or schools like Trade Tech or school that prepare them for cosmetology Etc I don't leave out the military military is an option and we find that at least one or two students will have military each year from our school and so I want I want to make sure that they have the right connection so I can help them do that in terms of of careers you know they they have lots of shoes we have a great program called Naviance and we've been using Navien with our students to try to lure those four rear so they can look at they can look at average income levels they can look at possibility do you know jobs increasing over the year descriptions that you can watch videos about people who have gone into those career so that's all through Naviance and I and parents have a Naviance is well through the parent my other role at Daniel Pearl is regarding testing that goes to colleges so that would be PSAT the SAT act and also a pee test and Tannenbaum the grade-level I would be working with your students at different times on signing up for these tests taking these tests at Exedra I also work with seniors on financial aid and presentations for parents regarding what financial aid is we pulled workshop on helping students complete their financial aid application throughout the year from October 3rd February I'm also the designated for work permit so if your student is looking for a job and they they have a couple in mind they'll need a work permit and that all starts with one document that has to be signed by parents future employer and the student and then we designed it to type up the work permit in the student fix that up in addition of one of the last things I do so help students take college courses while they're still in high school and those are called concurrent enrollment and dual enrollment classes where students get college credit even though they're high school students and the benefits of doing that is that students do not pay any tuition for these horses are they something most of them they learn College High School credit for but all of them they will also earn college credit and this go towards their AA degree towards the certificate or even towards a bachelor's degree so any of these things if you'd like to meet with me and speak more about these there is a calendly link that is Thank you very much next we have our wonderful and other magical person masliah pay of our Leo paper rather who is there a magnet coordinator and she also plays a big role at the school I'm laying up here are sorry this is the exact moment my dog decided to let you know park at the Amazon delivery man so just a few things I wanted to share with everyone one of the things I do is that track all the honor roll Awards and I just ran the honor roll for this week his last master master three and I'm so excited to say the 148 students made honor roll which is 67.5% which wasn't quite as high as our fall honor roll students are we at 81% students made honor roll it's just astounding and I'm so proud of our students for maintaining such high grades and meeting such great standards that you have you know over half the school is on the honor roll I want to just to let all the parents know about casting so as back-testing is coming it's going to be April 20th through April 29th the 11th graders are going to be taking the ELA test in the math test and the science test the 12th graders will be taking science test only because Unfortunately they didn't take it last year so they've the date of decided that they should take it this year just so you know we do have seats available at all grade levels for 2022 if your friends family Neighbors anyone you know who might be looking for a great place a great small school to send their student and in case you hadn't heard I did want to let everyone know that this is actually my last week at Daniel Pearl I've been here seven years is an English teacher and for as magnet coordinator have accepted another position at Vaz cell Academy Arts and Sciences and hopefully barring any crazy leusd paperwork snafu side leave tomorrow will probably be my last day at Daniel Pearl I just wanted to say thank you to everyone it's been a wonderful place to be for the last seven years and I've learned so much thank you to everyone and I'm going to carry on with the PowerPoint thank you Miss be where we were you the best for the future and we hope for no more paperwork snafu next is Middle East News release is our school climate Advocate it's a very fat fancy title and very very important job on our campus and I'll let her explain what she does on our campus hi everyone thanks for joining us and yes it is a confusing title most of the kids call me school mom I love that mr. Duke gave me the moniker Mama Pearl basically though my goal is to assist the principal the faculty and staff and promoting and fostering a positive School environment that's where the mom comes in very nurturing there are various ways that I do that but one some of the ones that I've listed here are daily check-ins would do this I am the one that checks them in every morning I get to say hello to them every morning and I try to always be outside when they leave so that I can say goodnight then throughout the day of course I get opportunities to talk to them on a regular basis I also organized different monthly campaign kindness campaign to promote that loving atmosphere on-campus also recognizing good behavior we've had character counts raffle we do Caught being good and we provide rewards for those students that are just displaying exemplary behavior along with the psychiatric social worker at the school I also organized and conduct community-building circles where the kids have a chance to get to know each other and and realize that they have more in common than they think I also assist Mister petrosyan with conflict resolution when little hiccups come up you know they are teenagers and so there are times where they get upset with each other and so I I stepped in and helped them mediate the situation also along with leadership I helped organize school-wide activities now that a lot of the restrictions have been lifted where we're looking forward to a three-legged raised or in the works of planning a movie night for the kids and so we're looking for are you doing any more interactive activities with them so it in Finale the goal is that every student feel welcomed and safe on our campus the pictures that I have here show that the top one show part of the kindness campaign we regularly display sidewalk chalk with positive messaging as well as the little what I called the chubby shark at the bottom the kids loved the chubby shark and I have little blurbs to just nice little positive reminders and then the tree in the center was part of a gratitude campaign where each of the students wrote what they were grateful for on the leaf and then we made a big huge tree that they can all look at so I hope I might get to meet some of you and come say hi to mama Pearl thank you thank you Jesus for keeping the campus save is Miss pool with us tonight okay we also have a a psychiatric social worker on our campus whose name is Mitchell and she's a licensed clinical social worker and she is with us on Mondays Wednesdays and ladies and she is another big piece of how we keep our students safe so there's also physical physical safety and social emotional safety and provides counseling to students for for a variety of reasons including as you see on the slide depression anxiety grief and loss but she's also there to make sure that their students are safe like how do we set up pretty much she she helped us out when there is conflict again among student between students and she helps us run those community-building circles when there's been a harm done to the she's a big part of that so she is the safety net for for students who are going through some some sort of emotional a crazy and if you would like to request a if you want your maintenance tool to be able to to meet with your child to provide all the support can please call the school and ask the front desk for a consent for services we're really grateful to have met with two on our campus and she makes us all safe thank you miss two now we have two wonderful English language arts teachers will tell you what happens in their wonderful classrooms and he's in the visuals are mr. beer and Miss Sharp take it away the evening I just want to say that I love these nights myself cuz I forgot about a good place to stay this is anybody who knows the school knows this is a big place where so accepting at the school and some other people I talked to this just a good place to be in right I teach AP Literature one of my classes I'm also an eight. I read a pee test over the summer so I can help students later on I teach 9th grade honors 11th grade American literature 9th grade English there's some of the novel's Wii cheats but what you stressing I was at Miss sharp and myself are both products of the national writing project that's also the California writing project here so we try to have students write a lot give them freedom of choice in their writing also I'm to get with Coach giblet is National poetry competition while it's local here and it's pretty much the big poetry competition west of the Mississippi that happens once a year and so we have a team we compete against 6070 schools and pretty excited and I'm going to let me sharp see if you then I'll post like my bitmoji so you recognize me so I miss sharp I pretty much Mr bear mentioned some of the important things about who we are and how we feel about English language arts like you said we are both writing project teacher so there's a lot of writing that goes on in our class in addition to the reading I teach AP language and this pository reading and writing course those are both Great Courses so there's a little bit of a shoe healthgrade wear instead of the focus being on literature it's on nonfiction text to prepare students for career and college I also teach 10th grade English so that's the regular 10th grade English and 5th grade honors English Simpson 10th grade students are learning about world history I try my best to incorporate literature program from foreign writers are from world history writers literature writer sorry it's my class so that that will supplement also what they're learning in history reading the literature that goes along with that part of the world thank you Miss thank you miss miss miss sharp and now I would like to present to you our wonderful social studies department and they will let you tell you the wonderful work they do with our student and these two rituals are mr. And Miz mooz healthy I miss housing and I that's mr. Ortega and I in New York we went a couple years ago to 80 did all about Alexander Hamilton what's the history 18th District teachers AP World History and regular world history in 11th grade I have all the 11th graders AP u.s. History and break u.s. history and 12th grade we share the duties of government and she's just government and economics so we we both love the school and be like with your children is mr. Ortega with your with us here tonight thank you Miss office is Mr Ortega here with us tonight Miss Peabody's mr. thing over there oh my sorry about that I don't see him here I don't think he's in the order is important for the math teacher we have Mr Duke is for the moment our math department and he is has a very very very very productive and very safe approach the mask and he'll tell you all about it mister Duke okay I have it makes movies his mama proud and don't make me the Duke apparel I'm very excited about this cool I I tell everyone Pearl is the gym the valley we have wonderful staff from the story and the special at 8 every single person only about your children I couldn't be more grateful to be here with such positive stacks and you know I am I was trying to I was trying to be making more lively by mouth like any place 902 do you have to deposit the waste away my class is Brownies have so many negative aspect around the world right now and so want one your children situationships time essentially I want to make mac and cheese because the truth is your children with trust me before they shut them out so therefore you know they have to enjoy the pasta Mathis I like the answer morning is always more than one when you get there and just like in life I always emphasizes doing to enjoy the process but you you can learn make mistake and be okay with it to master the process solution is just there I feel like a language is truly is just like English to Spanish we were doing anything that that is foreign to your student eventually you will you I do as well I know a lot is coming saying you know I'm not good at math or something you know Mike Mike is not good and I have to learn somewhere we got to start somewhere so I always thought will clean slate everyone comes in my class there's no buys there's no expectation is only High expectation you know we were together quickly we see finale we enjoy the process of making mistakes right now so that's why the quote financial literacy is we we started learning about credit card loan student loan car loan and I just basic budgeting and when I was doing the zoom a lot of pain with a sheep with no smaller than the case they ask me questions like how do I find out a PR and how do I save money like okay check chapter 7 Computing textbooks you know the last one they don't have to enjoy math they don't have to be good at math you can join me I'll make it then fine play that's how we do it we got to have fun we got to make sure we enjoy each other what we do that's really we already gave us doing our post press the gas makes you powerful why you play so what's going on on the question lately has been how have mass change the way you look at the world how I took this information to tap the new spring break April 16th April 23rd the parents you know I I will encourage you to please you know if your children are Let Me Greater and this test is so significant in terms of helping them get college and helping them put the name on the map because eventually you showed me will be the score of the other path would look down a line to see whether or not they want to send the kids to our store so I'll be there on Saturday the 16th I know it's Spring break start I promise I have coffee at least on my cell so please encourage them to come and I'm also giving extra credit is a MiFi okay the one world of science away that's the one already but truly this is a small school but we have a very powerful science department and between the two of us we have a lot of stuff that's going on I myself and the department chair science of biology to the students honors biology AP environmental science I am also the athletic director for the school and I am sponsoring both the classes of 2022 and 2003 so you love me Juniors and wonderful senior I get to work with you we are still working through some new stuff in the new textbooks at the game but one of the things that I am using a great deal in the biology course is Schoology through savasi zebra to gain more access to different aspects of things so when we talk about learning in my class you not only learn once but twice three times 4 times things like this also due to the availability of the mistress has given we have expanded the lab amount quite a bit to give you the example AP environmental science 221 Labs alone this year so far so we're up to about 15 or so in a regular biology class so there's a lot going on happening in class is new you may not have heard of it so if your students will be a junior or a senior here and wishes to take it or you wish to at least explore the options please contact me or about that and I will be speaking to you later about other things so I'm going to drop off mr. Hughes now hi sorry I can't be on video right now but I must refuse I teach chemistry and physics including honors chemistry last semester so I teach 10th 11 and 12th graders and so these are physical sciences and they're really intimidating for kids a lot of the time and that's something that I understand and it wasn't so long ago that college shooting in a high school student sing with the Sciences so I try to take an approach that helps kids to feel comfortable and capable without you no shaking in their boots over having to do you know the sort of complex math they said we have to cover on with these for the cosine so so this is my first year at the show for a while and I have been really really surprised and excited with warm and welcoming the campus has been as well with staff as well as students the student population is amazing I'm just like love working with them so much smaller class environment has really how to bolster my ability to work to help them through these more difficult topic so I really enjoyed my time so far and I am also a co-sponsor of the tri Club in GSA along with miss school we talked about briefly a little while ago so I'm not the club that's really important dear to my heart so any lgbtq students and allies are always welcome in my room at lunch on Monday now we have a mystery disease our journalism teacher and she involves her students in May real world situations real-world applications so our students are not just just any drones their student journalists who pretty much get involving run a very very prestigious student publication called the the proposed and I'll let Mister Aveda speak a little bit more about that too and thank you for joining us I'm a chubby do I do it strengthens my Thirteenth Year here at Daniel Pearl magnet and I teach photography and I'm also the advisor to the award-winning Publications the magazine News website as well as a yearbook and was the first take the progress be as 9th graders and in my class they not only learn the fundamentals of using a digital SLR but we should capture some great photos of but they also learn the basics of interviewing and writing and different types of fighting right now we just started a unit on entertainment writing which is one of my favorites was I love watching concert listen to albums and watching movies but if you have a senior student if you're you know you have it Raider and you haven't seen their petrography purple you may ask them to show it they should have one from the fall and one from the spring has some pretty good photos and you can probably see how their photography skills have improved just a few couple months ago they did great photos with water and lemon and they captured some great action with that and so that's as mine greater then when they're in the 10th 11th or 12th grade they can enroll in one of our Advanced journalist and those are the ones that produce the yearbook News website and the magazine that comes out every two months the news Bank the website is updated about three maybe sometimes four times a week so that's pretty good for a small school like ours and the Yearbook comes out in late May or early June and if you have not purchased a yearbook you may want to go to either the school website or the pro post.com and get your yearbook purchase or pre-order because we do have only a limited amount of books that we order every year so you may want to get yours now so anyway if you're student that did well in photography that can enroll in that class and that's not very I worked very different from other classes of the pens were very independently as pretty much a student-led classroom where the editors are pretty much the one coming up with ideas and reading the stories and designing the page so they work very dependable and the students learned so many of you know 21st century skills in their leadership time management and you know how funny how to work with one another and I'll be responsible and just left all our news magazine got second place in the best high school newspaper category by the Los Angeles Press Club that's one of the photos right there we have four students who went to the regalo and our news site is a finalist in the National Online pacemaker award and so will find out next month at the National High School journalism convention where we whether we are a winner or we are finalists and then Auto our journalism students usually get encouraged them to apply to Summer workshops where they're able to learn or home they're still and this summer we have two students who will be attending a free summer journalism workshop at Elon University in North Carolina and so I'm pretty excited about that and also on the side note our school Daniel reminded will receive the First Amendment press Freedom award I'll given annually at the national award is given annually to Schools administration and student journalist support and honor the First Amendment as so we're going to get that award at the National High School journalism Convention as well and so the photos are that I have are the First Amendment a word award then our finalists announcement for Pacemaker and then the illustration was done by a student and a cover of our news magazine distributed not tomorrow then sometime next week but you can get it online already or see it Buda next we have Mr Middlebrook hello everybody yes well you don't work on my also part of the journalism Extravaganza that Adriana so we're also as you can see I've got a few pictures here of we have links that lead to our websites here to provide for a video and everything but anyway basically what we do we we callate broadcast TV Belfor for the school that we have every month and then we also have we also learned a lot about photography butts in Agra fee for you have filmmaking editing writing you know Cal the handle cameras lighting everything we we've got a hold Bank of thing going on right now we're developing loans to create a TV series on campus and that's going to be in conjunction with doing the Pearl Net News as well so we teach you know basically a lot of things that you do the cameras and we have a lot of fun and we're producing a lot of things right now and will be available on the website soon so if you have any questions please ask me and there you go thank you Miss America now another very important member of our faculty Pearl team and it while I'm talking about Hambright and all the wonderful opportunities cheap presents for our students with a hemorrhoid I wanted to say that I'm very proud of being powerful group of teachers and faculty and students it shows every day I'm just under a lot of different guitar piano choir music technology a lot of ukulele instrument we are trying to focus on thinking music and a lot of listening Translating that to our instruments here we get to celebrate with the world of her world music months is actually October every October many kids involved possible to celebrate that kind of goes along with some of the music ology not only are there performers from all the different classes but I also see stage design recording techniques composition original composition we have a concert coming up with a few original compositions on it live sound still a lot of disciplines that are real world careers and don't have to be in front of the microphone that's kind of one of the things that we doing people like to do and it can be very not everyone is going to become a music star in front of the mic but there are plenty of great careers behind the scene in the focus on AW year we were able to collaborate with the video department so we got video for each song and compiled it up really cool concert evening was there something different than we've ever done before it really was it was partly because of the pandemic and we going to get this taken care of this year let's do something different create a cool concert where the students got to perform their numbers in countless times to get them right in front of the camera and that was a really a fun project for everyone to for all the musicians to collaborate with video department and see how that all goes down so we're alive videos we also have two very very big concert coming up in April 27th which is black box under the stars which is intimate classical music include not only classical music but some Duets and trios of some pop music that we're doing I will be doing that out in the garage I'll be out outside so it should be a social distance and still enjoy some great music a week following that would be a a concert where we have bigger bigger ensembles a lot of rock music and what does Louis concerts include I would say 90% of what they include in our student shows and music I don't impose a lot of music on the student I let them choose and that leads to doing sometime stuff I would choose anyways it was just nice to please those days again are April 27th 7 p.m. out in the Grove in front of the school and then the following Wednesday which is going to be May 4th and I'll be the bigger concert a bigger on I should say hopefully the audiences are a large in both cases you can also see our Instagram if you want to follow us on Instagram or bun times will post them rehearsal videos and photos as we prepare for these concerts I thought dpmhs music and then you can subscribe to our YouTube channel which is kind of actually kind of knew we just kind of started the last year and I'm starting to now upload old footage of commemorate some of that that was done from here on out the video department is helping us live stream and captured on video or are wonderful concert department for that and then that's Tardes good evening I am Mr Tyler I am the queen of world languages yes Daniel Pearl Magnet High School this is my 13th year I just want a spinal Morrison Mister Vieira and myself are the founding teachers of Daniel Pearl Magnet High School so we are the I tell my students where the OG is the original gangsters of Daniel Pearl Magnet High School it is a pleasure being here with everyone of you tonight as you can see we align Our World Language requirement with the Cal State University and you see systems and so we are able to provide in Laredo horses to get our students ready there is two routes that we could take the first one is the regular for a Spanish 1A 2A or 3A and be for those students that are non Spanish speaking where a foreign language is the beginning of their their emotion within the high school experience my job Spanish one teacher is to be able to grow allow my students to grow appreciation for the culture so you see on the side works of Frida Kahlo Pablo Picasso we are talk about our cultural experiences comparisons and connections we are always bringing in the known to the unknown so what do we know about the United States in our culture and comparing it to the unknown what how do they greet in the sky why do they say some things in the Spanish-speaking world and embrace the differences and the diversity of the the Spanish-speaking world and then we have in my other slide crispy bar we have the other route that we could take and that is the Spanish speakers route and the Spanish speakers 12 they've kind of cool. I'm going to English English 10 10th and 11th but would do it all in Spanish so we're reading the works of Isabel Allende we're introducing short stories were in do steam autobiographies all different types of genres when it comes to writing and reading so it's a more intense type of program and it allows our students to be able get ready and get them ready for the AP Spanish language exam and the spring school for example last semester I had speakers too and we're getting ready I have out of the 10 that I have a we have 5 right now that are getting ready to walk through the 8th in Spanish language exam so we take time outside of our day to be able to prepare for that opportunity that we have I could I pride myself on having the scores for the AP language exam I have got it three times in a row 100% And so I know that my students can make not ever reading a Spanish novel in Spanish and they walk away wanting to know more about the works of our literature in Spanish so with that being said this whole year has been so exciting for me because we got brand new textbooks and even though I've been teaching for 25 years on my new V with the new textbook and everything and I love that about Daniel Pearlman the not one years the same so it gives me and my tippy-toes so therefore I'm always excited and I've been teaching for 25 years and I'm not yet bore of saying oh I got it you know I got to move on to Greater things are less things or more more predictable things because I love the vibe that we get at the annual Pro Magnet High School with their students but they bring into the picture and have a have a walk away amazing citizens to our world so thank you so much thank you mrs. Oh thank you and now we have met says he's in my stone and they are part our special ed / Resource Group misses easements don't hi everybody I'm disease and my colleague Miss stone is also here so what's the price of the resource teachers at Daniel. We don't have a special day program to all of her kids are in the Gen Ed classes with resource support and I support looks to fall so this potion board where you going to fuss or the Orlando for paraprofessionals they go into the class to support the kids and work with the teachers or some of the kids come to us that's a pull out the porch so they come to the Learning Center very Huerta. The Learning Center has again to birthdays we use it for kids to catch up or if they need some extra time for the test or for the assignments to go to work on the last week that they need to work on Andresen TV started doing remedial Services where to to lessen the gap between what the kids know and what they need to know so kids who have IEPs come to us and we work with them we have also become a full inclusion School in that final right so we are one so that means is that we have kids with all kinds of Campus we have kids with learning disabilities we have kids who are on the alternate curriculum we have kids who are on the autism spectrum all kinds of kids and the best thing about that is that somebody was talking about how the kids are so accepting here that's all so far we have kids of all kinds of needs and nobody bats an eyelid and everybody gets along gives you wouldn't see on a regular campus are and included in our will and Mysteries makes a great effort of loading them and everything that happens on our campus so so yeah I mean in our department of work with the teachers who work with the students and we make sure that our kids the best services that we can provide them and menu for students who men with IEPs they go on to 4-year colleges community colleges then they go on to greater things and we really loved working with the loss of all of your students thank you mrs. he's Miss down I am this town and I recently joined the Daniel Pearl family right after Thanksgiving and I've really been enjoying meeting all of this. and working with all of this student even though our primary focus is on students with special needs when we are in the classroom we help anyone who needs a c whether they have an ID or not so were there to help and that's one of the great things about being a full inclusion school it puts us in the classrooms more so Dad an extra support to all students in the classroom thank you Miss Stone and we have a wonderful team thank you very much mr. Morris and you're back on yes I am sorry I had a phone going off as you heard from before I am the sponsor of class of 2022 that being said my first push is to let you all know about prom from will be at the Tarzana cultural Community Center you can see some pictures of it the theme of this is going to be 1920s and 1930s putting on our cost is $120 per ticket which is probably about the lowest in the district that you can get that being said if you have already with your student bought a senior package you don't have buy ticket because that was part of the senior packet if you have not purchased in your package then you will need to buy a ticket if your student is bringing a guest they will need to run that by me so I have paperwork at there from outside of the school and they will need a ticket as well to be purchased it is from 5:10 p.m. on the 20th of May it is a Friday. Being said your student must have that's cool at least through noon to be able to go to prom also on this it's not just a senior prom with juniors are also included couple reasons for this number one is we are such a small school to be able to come enjoy the other thing is is a learning experience for the juniors so that when they become seniors they are then able to pass on their knowledge about how to essentially throw party to their younger classmates so I look forward to hopefully seeing a lot of is there and enjoying prom any questions please feel free to get in touch with me thank you Mr Morrison and the continue with me I just keep talking this day things to look forward to seniors the senior breakfast will be the same day as graduation graduation this year will be on the 9th of June okay so before we go in to have our wonderful rehearsal and stuff will be having our your breakfast in will be I believe starts at 5 am I stressing we still have not heard from the disc Journey tickets to things like this but we will let you know as soon as we hear things grad night to grab my tickets are on sale but it is not a school-sponsored event so is being sponsored through TSA do if you have questions open granite and things like this you may feel free to contact me however I will be contacting the PTSA with that but we still have some senior shirts for sale if you're senior did not get one so play please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to fill in your shirt okay if you have any other questions or concerns please also feel free to contact me I just keep going here tonight you can get tired of my voice director if you are interested in playing sports for next year you will need to fill out all of the packet all over again are the packet is found on the Daniel Pro website there are about 17 to 19 different forms that need to be filled out please make sure that the physical cuz you will need a new physical for next year the physicals find the pre physical forms are filled out and completed by the first week of school if your student is interested in a fall sport some of the spring Sports will also be out at the same time so if your students interested in a Spring sport please make sure that everything is filled out so they may try out you can see the Q R code right there or you to take a quick snapshot of so that you can see we have every single sport is offered that is offered at any height and there we have some of our wonderful Sports people we have Nancy with lacrosse we have Eduardo there playing football desire playing playing a goodness gracious I am my mic is using swim right now water polo and we have the Maya right there and Cheyenne on the girls volleyball team so we really do support our athletes as much as possible and we really are very proud of them for everything that they do including keeping up their grades so if you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will not speak anymore not a problem thank you very now it's time for our question-and-answer session any question BS back testing is that just for 11th and 12th or do 9th and 10th graders do it as well only only 11 or 11th graders will be taking the Testament I believe this is our last night I thought there was a thank you slide but it must have disappeared so thank you all for I did record this and I will do my best to have this posted on the website tomorrow for all the parents weren't able to join us and if you wanted to go back and review any of the information thank you so much thank you thank you for being here tonight have a great great evening thank you
