  Created in just six hours by the STN Crew at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School, Time of Death is a gripping short film born from a single prompt and a ticking clock. As part of a practice round for the upcoming STN Convention competition in Tampa, students brainstormed, filmed, and edited the entire project under intense time pressure. The result is a suspenseful, emotionally charged story that explores the fragile boundary between life, loss, and the moments that change everything.

PearlTV is officially back — and closing out 2025 with a huge kickoff episode! Anchors Marina and Zarina guide us through our first broadcast of the new school year, featuring brand-new segments and standout student work from across the Video Production program.
  We open with an exclusive look at the STN HorrorFest Student Showcase, where Advanced Film Production crews debut their original short thrillers and horror films, all shot on our newly upgraded Blackmagic cinema equipment.
  Next, PearlTV launches a new recurring series: Spotlight on Staff. Each episode, we’ll highlight one of the incredible educators or team members who make DPMHS such a unique and supportive community.
  We finish strong with Meet Your Classmates, a creative introduction to the newest filmmakers in our Year 1 Video Production classes. These personal profiles spotlight student voices and the diverse experiences they bring to our program.
  This episode marks the start of a new year of storytelling — and the final broadcast before Winter Break. Thank you to our filmmakers, editors, anchors, camera teams, and the entire PearlTV crew for making it happen.
